GRM’s fire-rated secure storage vaults are ideally designed to store highly confidential material, high-value items, disaster recovery programs, documents requiring long term preservation, title deeds, media tapes etc. The most cost-effective type of offsite vault storage is when you share the vault with other clients. This option is more cost-effective because you only pay for the amount of storage space used, rather than paying for the capacity of the entire vault. Alternatively, depending on your needs, you can choose to avail of your own private vault with your own key, which is a unique offering from GRM. Clients who require maximum security for highly sensitive files prefer to choose this option. Our detection system consists of two separate smoke detectors that are linked to our constant fire monitoring station. These sensitive detectors can detect a fire in the pre-combustion stage, triggering an alarm both in our facility and in our monitoring station. Each vault is further protected by a two-hour fire rated solid steel door and is access-controlled. All fire systems have been fully commissioned in accordance with Industry Standards. Our vaults are fully customisable according to your exact requirements, with the option of installing an FM200 gas suppressant system to further protect against the threat of fire. FM200 gas is environmentally friendly and guarantees that any fire within the vault is extinguished, once detected. FM200 gas offers the following properties: • Very fast extinguishing of fire, before records are damaged
• Chemically inert, and therefore no influence on the vaults' contents
• Clean, no residue after discharge
• Harmless; personnel can remain in the protected vault during discharge
• Low extinguishing concentration
